Cost of the Tour

Let’s be perfectly honest about this.  I’d take you riding for fun if I could.

I like to ride, but this venture not only supports my family, it gives me someone to like in the mirror every morning.

One KLR 650, given the time it will be on tour, against the time that it won’t, the cost of upkeep, tires, chains, oil, Willy helping out….Jeez, then you got insurance, taxes, dis and dat… Comes to $75 a day for one Motorcycle rolling down the road.  (ask about our “Turn the Rent Down Off Days”)

So here is how it breaks down for a two week Motorcycle Tour in Central America.

15 Days, 1 Rider………………………………….$5,495

Tour price includes:

• One bilingual guide.

• Your Motorcycle.

• Your Guides Motorcycle
  

• Room (based on Double Occupancy)  Breakfast is often included with a room but if it isn’t, you’re responsible for your own food and drink throughout the tour.

• Gas (and whatever else the bike needs)

• Border crossings.
  

• Shipping back to the states if you ride your own bike from the US
  

There’s a one time fee of $49.95 for the paperwork you’ll need to take a Costa Rician motorcycle out of the ountry.                                                                

Terms:  $1,000 deposit for a tour 6 days or more.  One month refundable $800.  The $200 is for getting me excited and maybe missing another opportunity.

Inside a month, I’ve made plans, spent money on last minute things and generally dedicated that time to you.   If you cancel inside a month, I’m keeping the $1,000.
