Like to ride with me?
Please look at the pictures and videos. Is this you?
- You should be 25 or older unless accompanied by someone over 40. Ages usually run 50 to 65 or more. Older riders are more experienced and, strange as it might seem, generally like to move along quickly. Slow when it’s beautiful and stop for pictures. It’s your trip. I’ll make it work for you.
- Riders best not fool themselves about ability if we’re going up through Central America. It can be dodgy in traffic and sometimes the road will surprise you. I’m looking for good solid riders who can keep up; not try to race me and not worry me to death if he decides to stop and take a picture. Stop, take the picture. I’ll be waiting up the road for you.
- If a week in Costa Rica is more what you’d like and you don’t feel all that experienced, contact me and we’ll work something out “in country” that may suit you better.
- You need not be a dirt rider but we sometimes encounter dirt roads. If you just don’t want to ride them, please say so and I’ll mark the route accordingly.
- We’re traveling in alien cultures. Differences go far beyond language. Latinos don’t always think like we do, and there’s much to learn if we’re polite, curious and appreciate what we’re passing through. This is my way of saying: no loudmouths, know-it-all’s or monsters in a bottle.
- There is no standard tour. Contact me and we’ll talk about it. I have Skype. Send a number and I’ll call if you like.

Paul Furlong, a dedicated life long motorcyclist, invites you on a
journey into the land of Mañana. Where culture and habit paint a far different picture than
the ones of Jose Jimenez or Cheech & Chong.
